Payments & Instalments

Q1 : Can I change the instalment amount after I enroll in the scheme?
A : No, once you select your monthly instalment amount during enrolment (e.g., ₹500, ₹1000, etc.), it is fixed for the entire 12-month duration. This helps maintain consistency and ensure that the scheme’s benefits, like the 12th-month waiver, can be calculated correctly. We recommend choosing an amount you are comfortable paying for the next 11 months.


Q2  When should I pay each month’s instalment?
A :  You need to make your payment between the 1st and 7th of every month. This is considered your payment window, and we also offer a 7-day grace period for late payments. However, paying on time helps you avoid any delays in benefit eligibility.


Q3  Can I pay more than one instalment in a single month?
A : No, you can only make one instalment payment per calendar month. Even if you want to pay in advance, it won’t be accepted as two separate months. This ensures your scheme progresses month-by-month and aligns with our waiver logic in the 12th month.


Q4  What happens if I miss one or more instalments?
A : If you do not complete all 11 monthly payments, you will not be eligible for the 12th-month instalment waiver. You can still redeem the total value of the instalments you’ve paid, but you will miss out on the extra benefit of the free month.


Q5: Is auto-debit available for the scheme?
A :  Yes! For convenience, you can opt for an auto-debit facility, where the instalment amount is automatically deducted from your registered bank account every month. This ensures you never miss a payment and remain eligible for the waiver.


Refund & Closure
What is the due date for the scheme?

A : Your due date each month will match your enrolment date. For example, if you enroll on the 5th of the month, every subsequent instalment will be due by the 5th, with a grace period till the 12th.


What happens if I want to close the scheme early (Pre-Closure)
A : You may choose to close the scheme before completing all 11 instalments, but you will not receive the 12th-month waiver benefit. You can only redeem the amount you have paid, and applicable cancellation charges or policy deductions may apply.


Can I cancel the scheme midway?
A: Yes, you can cancel at any time. However, your accumulated amount will only be refunded after deducting applicable charges. You will also lose eligibility for the 12th-month benefit.


What is post-closure of the scheme?
A : Post-closure refers to the period after your scheme matures (12 months). You must redeem or close the scheme within the same financial year in which it matured. Delays beyond that may affect your ability to redeem the full amount.


Usage & Redemption
Can I buy multiple products with my scheme redemption amount?
A : Yes, you can use the total amount to buy more than one product in a single transaction—online or in-store—as long as the full value is redeemed together.


Can I receive a part refund or partial purchase?
A : No, partial purchases or partial redemptions are not allowed. The full maturity amount must be used in a single transaction, either online or at any Aikyatha store. Similarly, refunds (if eligible) are provided in full as per the cancellation policy, not partially.


Account Details
Can I transfer my scheme to someone else?
A : No, the scheme is non-transferable. It is linked to your unique customer ID, and all benefits and payments are tied to your personal account.


Can I change my address or account details later?
A : Yes, you can update your address or registered account information by contacting customer care or visiting a store. Identity and address verification documents may be required to process the change securely.


Can I nominate someone in case of unforeseen events?
A : Yes, you can appoint a nominee at the time of enrolment. In the unfortunate event of the scheme holder’s death, the nominee can claim the maturity amount with proper verification and documents.


Does payment need to be made from the registered account only?

A: ✅ Yes, to ensure security and tracking.
